Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has responded to a Twitter user who claimed she never rests. The user revealed that Funke’s work ethic inspires her to keep pushing, even when she feels like taking a break.
However, Funke disagreed, stating that she does take time to rest. “Na lie. I dey rest wella,” she wrote.
Her colleagues and fans were quick to respond, with many joking that Funke never sleeps. Sharon Ooja, Falz, Nancy Isime, and Jide Awobona were among those who teased Funke about her work ethic.
