The incident began when the lady ordered a Bolt ride and was surprised by the driver’s demand for additional money upon arrival. She canceled the ride, but the driver’s reaction was unexpected and alarming.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the lady shared her terrifying experience: “I ordered a Bolt, and the driver asked for extra money for fuel and pickup. I refused and canceled the ride. Then, he grabbed a cutlass from his trunk, saying it was for ‘self-defense.’ I was shocked and scared. Luckily, I had a police friend I could call, and the driver fled the scene.”
The woman’s story sparked outrage and concern among social media users, with many calling for Bolt to take action against the driver.
