Veteran Nollywood actress Idowu Phillips, lovingly known as Mama Rainbow, has poured out her heart following the passing of her dear colleague and friend, Charles Olumo, affectionately called Agbako.
With tears in her eyes, Mama Rainbow shared a heartfelt video visiting Olumo’s home, reminiscing about their last conversation. Olumo had called her on Saturday, just days before his passing, to update her on his hospital visit.
“I’ll never forget our last talk,” Mama Rainbow said, her voice trembling. “He called me on Saturday, telling me he was back from the hospital. I offered to help with his medication, but he said, ‘Wait, my dear.’ Little did I know it was our final goodbye.”
Mama Rainbow’s words were filled with gratitude and relief. “I thank God he didn’t die shamefully. He left us with dignity, and for that, I’m eternally grateful.”
