Nymat questioned Davido’s motives, asking what services he has rendered to the average Nigerian. She noted that American celebrities would not badmouth their country to foreigners, emphasizing that Davido should be more mindful of his utterances, especially about the country that has given him fame.
Nymat urged Davido to focus on contributing positively to Nigeria’s development rather than criticizing the country’s economy. She challenged him to show evidence of his investments in Nigeria, such as companies producing local food, before making negative comments about the country.
