Nollywood actress Ronke Odusanya has opened up about her tumultuous marriage to Saheed Olarewaju, also known as Jago. In a candid interview with colleague Bimpe Akintunde, Ronke revealed the shocking betrayal that contributed to their split.
A so-called friend, Ronke claimed, maliciously told her husband that she was promiscuous and had left their home to move in with a senator, along with their daughter. This devastating lie, coupled with her husband’s willingness to believe it, left Ronke reeling.
With only N10,000 to her name, Ronke was forced to seek refuge with her brother. She recalled the painful moment, saying, “I didn’t have money to get accommodation… I cried so much that day.”
However, Ronke’s ex-husband later realized his grave mistake. “He shouldn’t have listened to the things he heard,” Ronke said, reflecting on the experience.
