Nollywood actor Adeniyi Johnson has extended his condolences and support to Olori Naomi Silekunola, the former wife of the Ooni of Ife, who has been remanded in connection with a tragic stampede during a Christmas event in Ibadan.
Adeniyi Johnson took to Instagram to offer his prayers and condolences to the families of the victims. He also expressed his support for Silekunola, emphasizing that her intentions were not malicious.
The actor urged authorities to “temper justice with mercies” and consider Silekunola’s charitable intentions. Silekunola, along with two others, has been remanded at the Agodi Correctional Centre pending advice from the Oyo State Director of Public Prosecutions. The case has been adjourned until January 13.
