Woman who claims to be the former wife of Mercy Johnson’s husband has sparked intense reactions online after accusing the Nollywood actress of knowingly getting involved with a married man.
In a video that has been making rounds on social media, the woman alleged that Mercy Johnson was fully aware that her husband, Prince Okojie, was legally married when their relationship began. According to her, she personally reached out to the actress at the time to explain that her marriage was still valid and warned her to stay away.
She further claimed that her warnings were ignored, adding that Mercy Johnson went on to continue the relationship while allegedly portraying a different version of events to the public. The woman insisted that no divorce ever occurred between her and Prince Okojie, stating that she was never asked to return her bride price, a key requirement in traditional settings for ending a marriage.
The woman also addressed reports suggesting that Prince Okojie denied responsibility for some children linked to him. She described such claims as painful and unfair, stressing that she and her children were his first family. She concluded by calling on Mercy Johnson to publicly respond and disprove the allegations if they are untrue.
