A Nigerian Muslim lady, Tinuke Vibes, has taken to social media to clear up a common misconception among Muslim women. She’s been informed that some wives have been denying their husbands intimacy during Ramadan, and she’s here to set the record straight.
According to Tinuke, Islam doesn’t prohibit intimacy between husbands and wives during Ramadan. However, there is a catch – it’s only allowed after breaking fast, from around 8 pm to 4 am.
Tinuke emphasizes that during fasting hours (5:30 am to 7 pm), intimacy is not permitted. But once the fast is broken, couples can enjoy each other’s company as much as they like.
In her words, “You people have started, they did not tell you not to knack your husband inside Ramadan eh… when you are fasting, that is when you should not do it, but after you people break your fast, you can do anything as much as you like, continue firing.”
Tinuke’s video has sparked a lot of interest and debate online, with many people thanking her for clarifying this important aspect of Islamic law.
