Nigerian singer Wizkid has revealed that fashion brand Puma approached him first before partnering with Davido. In a recent social media exchange, Wizkid stated that he rejected Puma’s offer because their budget wasn’t sufficient.
“I turned down Puma because they couldn’t afford me,” Wizkid wrote. “Their budget was suitable for Davido, their current ambassador.” Wizkid also asserted his superiority over fellow artists Rema, Tems, and Burna Boy.
“I’m way bigger than every artiste you mentioned,” he declared.
