British singer Natalie Okri has made a shocking revelation about wigs and human hair extensions, describing them as “diabolical” and carriers of bad luck. In a recent interview, Okri explained why she stopped wearing wigs and human hair extensions, citing three compelling reasons.

Firstly, Okri revealed that some human hairs are sacrificed to demons, deities, and other unknown gods. She explained that in some Asian cultures, women offer their hair at temples as a form of purification, believing that their gods will cleanse them of bad luck, poverty, and other negative energies.

“A lot of women in some countries like Asia, go to the temple to sacrifice their hair to their god, believing that their gods will purify and cleanse them. They gave their hair as a form of getting rid of bad luck, poverty, and every other thing stressing them and they started life anew.

What’s more alarming, according to Okri, is that these hairs are then sold to European markets and online vendors, who in turn sell them to unsuspecting customers, including African women. Okri emphasized that by wearing these hairs, individuals may be unknowingly carrying someone else’s bad luck on their heads.

“Those working in the temple take their hair and sell it off to the European market or to different big vendors like Ali Baba, Ali Express, and different brands. And we black women go to those websites to buy these hairs at hundreds of pounds.” She explained

As a Christian, Okri believes that these practices are contrary to her faith, and she views them as a form of idolatry. She encouraged her fans to be mindful of the origins of the hair they wear and to consider the potential spiritual implications.

“We are wearing someone’s bad luck on our heads. You may not believe in their god but as a Christian, that works against what I believe in, because we see them as demons and deities.” She concluded

Here are Natalie Okri’s words:

“There are 3 reasons why I stopped wearing wigs and human hairs: some human hairs are sacrificed to demons, deities, and other unknown gods.
