The WAEC result of a Nigerian boy, Mustapha Lukman has gotten people talking on social media after it shows that he scored 136 in the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) exam. Lukman, who aspires to study computer science at Kaduna State Polytechnic (KadPoly), posted his WASSCE results on Facebook, seeking feedback on his chances of gaining admission.
In his words, “This my WAEC result in jamb 136 do you get addimition in computer science do you get addimition in kadpoly“.
According to the screenshots, his results included a distinction (A1) in agricultural science and five B3s in subjects such as English language and physics.
Although his results shocked Nigerians as he had an impressive WAEC results, but had a low score of 136 in JAMB. While some people offered encouragement and advice, others wondered how he managed to perform so well in WAEC given his low JAMB score and apparent difficulties with English.
