On Friday, September 20, Momodu shared a video on Snapchat, giving her followers a tour of what she suggested was her newly acquired home. The footage included shots of the property’s interior, featuring a grand staircase and several empty rooms. This display impressed many viewers and sparked discussions on social media about her supposed purchase.
However, shortly after, the real estate company linked to the property released a statement refuting Momodu’s ownership of the house. They stated, “It’s the effrontery and the guts to lie with so much confidence,” but did not provide further explanation as to why the house appeared in her Snapchat video or whether any negotiations for its purchase had occurred.
