Nigerian singer Simisola Kosoko, known as Simi, has shared the reason behind her love for her husband, Adekunle Gold.
She revealed that her affection for him was sparked by his skills in graphic design and photo editing.
Simi made this revelation while praising Gold for his recent work, where he edited a water bottle out of a photo of Nigerian chess master Tunde Onakoya on X.
In a post celebrating Gold’s editing skills, Simi wrote,
“This is why I fell for you. I can’t believe someone encouraged you to pursue singing.”
Gistme9ja notes that before joining Olamide’s record label, YBNL Nation, Adekunle Gold gained recognition for his exceptional skills in Photoshop, including designing the label’s logo.
Gold and fellow singer Simi were married on January 9, 2019, in Lagos, and they welcomed their first child, Adejare, in 2020.
