Laide Bakare has joined her colleagues in paying tribute to Zeenat Balogun, the late daughter of veteran actor Saidi Balogun. Sharing a TikTok video of their time together on a movie set last month, Laide recalled Zeenat’s vibrant personality.
“Woke up to devastating news about @Zeenatbaogun. We were just together on set last month; she was so full of life and energy. How can this be?!” Laide wrote.
Laide revealed she tried contacting Saidi but couldn’t reach him, expressing her shock and grief. Colleagues, including Allwell Ademola, Kunle Afod, and Yomi Fash Lanso, have sent condolences to Saidi, with heartfelt messages.
Saidi Balogun earlier shared a poignant post featuring a candlelight surrounded by flowers, accompanied by heartbroken emojis. The Nollywood community continues to mourn the loss of Zeenat, offering support to her grieving family.
