Music producer Samuel Oguachuba, known as Samklef, has criticized music star Davido for his guest choices at his recent traditional wedding.
The controversy centers on Davido’s invitation to the activist Verydarkman (VDM), whom Samklef labeled an “ex-convict.” The issue arose when Samklef expressed his disapproval on Twitter, alleging that Davido’s decision to invite VDM had dampened the wedding’s celebratory atmosphere.
Samklef lamented that such actions compromised the occasion’s purity and elegance, suggesting that not everyone should be included among the elite guests.
“Davido’s wedding, which was supposed to be a week-long celebration, has been tainted. Marriage is about love, and this decision has ruined it. Not everyone should be invited to sit at the table with the elite. Now, an unworthy guest has sullied the event,” Samklef said.
The music producer further insinuated that such a situation would never occur at Wizkid’s wedding.
“This kind of negativity would never happen at Wizkid’s wedding. Not everyone should be included, as it can stain the occasion’s elegance. Very embarrassing,” Samklef added.
