Nigerian skit maker Oluwadolarz has bravely spoken about a traumatic experience from his childhood, revealing that he was sexually abused at the age of six by a female neighbor he identified as Aunty Ramota.
In a video shared online, the comedian recounted how the abuse occurred during a period when he was living with his grandmother.
According to him, the incidents often happened after he returned home from school. He explained that at such a young age, he did not fully understand what was happening but knew that something was wrong.
Oluwadolarz described the experience as deeply damaging, saying it left him with years of bottled-up anger and emotional pain. He admitted that the trauma followed him into adulthood, affecting his ability to trust others and build healthy relationships.
The content creator noted that speaking out now is part of his personal healing process and a way to encourage others who may be suffering in silence.
The revelation quickly sparked reactions across social media, with many Nigerians expressing shock, sympathy, and support. Among those who addressed the conversation was singer Simi, who clarified her earlier tweets after facing backlash. She explained that her previous comments had been misunderstood and reaffirmed her firm stance against all forms of sexual violence.
