In a powerful demonstration of solidarity, popular Nigerian social activist VeryDarkMan has thrown his weight behind the #EndBadGovernance movement that is currently trending across Nigeria.

Known for his outspoken nature and commitment to societal issues, VeryDarkMan was recently spotted holding a sign shirtless atop a vehicle with the message: “Emi lokon, is it ur turn to suffer us,” a direct critique of the current administration’s policies and a call to action for Nigerians to demand better governance.

The #EndBadGovernance movement has gained significant traction recently, with widespread protests being organized in response to the harsh economic conditions and perceived mismanagement by the government. Policies such as the removal of fuel subsidies and the unification of foreign exchange rates have led to severe inflation, exacerbating the financial strain on ordinary Nigerians [❞] [❞].

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has urged Nigerians to hold off on planned protests, promising that the government is actively working on solutions to their grievances. However, the response has been mixed, with many citizens feeling the need for immediate action rather than waiting for government responses [❞].

In addition to VeryDarkMan’s bold statement, there have been numerous reports of arrests related to the protest movement. Notably, the Department of State Services (DSS) recently arrested Aliyu Sanusi in Sokoto for distributing protest materials, though he was later released [❞].

The public’s reaction to VeryDarkMan’s support has been overwhelmingly positive, with many praising his courage and commitment to highlighting the struggles faced by everyday Nigerians. His involvement has added a significant boost to the movement, encouraging more people to voice their dissatisfaction with the current state of governance.
