APC chieftain Joe Igbokwe has called out Davido for his recent comments about Nigeria’s economy. During an American podcast, Davido advised against relocating to Nigeria due to the country’s economic difficulties. Igbokwe responded by saying that Davido should retract his statement, emphasizing that Nigeria is the foundation of his success.
On his Facebook page, Igbokwe expressed his disappointment, stating, “My in-law Davido has made me sad by telling the world in America that Nigeria’s economy is in shambles. This is very sad. I will advise him to retract the statement ASAP. Nigeria made Davido. QED!!!”
This isn’t the first time Igbokwe has spoken out on public issues. Just recently, he criticized the idea of Seyi Tinubu running for governor of Lagos State, saying it’s not a job for “boys”.
