Renowned gospel singer Mercy Chinwo has opened up about the traumatic experience she endured at the hands of her former manager, Eezee Concept. In a heart-wrenching video, Mercy revealed the shocking details of their fallout, which left her emotionally drained and seeking justice.
According to Mercy, Eezee Concept pressured her into signing a contract in 2019, which she described as “fraudulent.” When she refused, he allegedly began to bully her, making her life miserable to the point where she had to relocate to Lagos.
The singer also claimed that Eezee Concept paid bloggers to spread false reports about her, attempting to tarnish her reputation and brand. The constant barrage of negative publicity took a toll on Mercy’s mental health, leaving her feeling overwhelmed and sad.
In the video, Mercy is seen breaking down in tears as she recounts her ordeal. She wrote a caption accompanying the video, expressing her pain and seeking divine intervention.
“I am overwhelmed with sadness every single day, and I cannot even explain it all. This burden is too heavy for me to bear. People call me names, accuse me unjustly, and paint me as someone I am not… My heart cries out to Him because I believe He will fight for me and make the truth known.”
The gospel community has rallied around Mercy, offering words of encouragement and support. Many have condemned Eezee Concept’s alleged actions, calling for accountability and justice.
