It’s been two years since we lost the amazing Ada Ameh, and her friend Empress Njamah is keeping her memory alive in a beautiful way. On Wednesday, Empress went on Instagram to share some heartfelt videos in honor of Ada.
One video showed Ada singing along to Kizz Daniel’s hit song ‘Buga’ while getting her makeup done, capturing her lively and joyful spirit. Empress captioned it, “It’s another year again, my dearest Ada Ameh. We all miss you. Keep resting, my sweet trouble.”
In another post, Empress visited Ada’s grave with flowers, said some prayers, and shared a touching video. She wrote, “True friends are the ones who will never leave your heart, even if they leave your life for a while. Even after years apart, you pick up right where you left off, and even if they pass, they’re never gone in your heart.”
For those who might not remember, Ada Ameh, a beloved Nollywood actress, passed away on July 17, 2022. The Actors Guild of Nigeria paid a heartfelt tribute to her in August 2022, celebrating her life and legacy. She was laid to rest in her hometown of Otukpo, Benue State, on August 26, 2022. Ada left us at the age of 48, and she’s still dearly missed by fans and colleagues alike.
