Nigerian music producer Don Jazzy made headlines today when he generously gifted an Instagram user 10 million naira, following a heartfelt plead from popular influencer Jane Mena.
The situation unfolded after don Jazzy caption an Instagram video saying “Up and grateful o lord. Oya drop account details and tell me what you need it for.” then Jane Mena saw the post, Instead of asking for herself then she pleaded for someone else saying :
Goodafternoon and happy Sunday boss Please do help a friend’s mum at the verge of dying. I have known this family for over 25years plus and this is the first time she’s ever asked for my help. But, apart from me, she’s also seeking help from anyone and everywhere possible. She doesn’t know her way around asking for help on here so I’m assisting her with this and financially also but I know my own money won’t be enough to cover a lot of the expenses. BACKSTORY:-
The mum, about 2years ago came down with diabetes which led to the amputation of her legs. And As if that wasn’t enough, late last year, she was diagnosed with kidney failure plus other surrounding sicknesses and it’s been dialysis for the longest. The bills were so much they had to opt for dialysis once a week when it’s suppose to be twice a week for her but she’s always struggling each day that passes until it’s dialysis day and now it’s back to Twice a week.
She has been transferred from SAINT LUKE’S HOSPITAL ASABA to UBTH BENIN and that’s her current treatment location.. Please kindly assist her and I know it would go a long way I hope you get to see this.
the Instagram user had initially reached out to Jane, expressing a pressing financial need. Moved by the story, Jane Mena took it upon herself to advocate for the user, tagging Don Jazzy in a post and appealing for his help.
To the surprise and delight of many, Don Jazzy responded with a massive act of kindness, transferring the substantial sum of 10 million naira to the user.
