Seun Kuti, a well-known singer, shared his disappointment over not receiving an invitation to Davido’s wedding. He expressed his feelings during an interview on the popular podcast Curiosity Made Me Ask hosted by Isbae U.
Seun explained that despite his close relationship with Davido, who frequently visited his venue, the ‘Shrine,’ with large groups without paying, he was not invited to the wedding. This exclusion deeply affected him, and he admitted it caused him sleepless nights for nearly a week.
When asked by Isbae U about being one of the few Nigerian celebrities left out of such a high-profile event, Seun responded with:
“It really hurt me, especially since Davido used to come to the Shrine with about 100 people, and none of them would pay. I couldn’t sleep for almost a week.”
