American rapper Cardi B has disclosed that she narrowly escaped a miscarriage due to a recent “freak accident.” While she did not elaborate on the specifics of the incident, she shared that it left her paralyzed.
“I experienced a freak accident that is rare but severe enough to leave me completely paralyzed. It nearly cost me my baby,” she revealed in a recent conversation with fans on X.
Despite the frightening ordeal, Cardi B, who recently announced her third pregnancy, fortunately did not suffer a miscarriage. She recounted returning home from the hospital in a sedated state, having been administered morphine to manage the pain.
The rapper stated that she would not hesitate to seek hospital care again if the pain symptoms continue.
This update follows Cardi B’s confirmation that her husband, Offset, is indeed the father of the third child she is expecting, despite their ongoing divorce.
Cardi B and Offset, who married in secret in 2017, have two children together—daughter Kulture, 6, and son Wave, 2—and are now expecting their third.
