In a recent interview, popular Nigerian crossdresser Bobrisky, whose real name is Idris Okuneye Olanrewaju, finally revealed why he didn’t grow a beard during his time in prison. This comes after Bobrisky slammed comedian Isbae U for referring to him as an ex-convict on his show “Curiosity Made Me Ask”.
Bobrisky was sentenced to six months in jail without the option of a fine on April 12, 2024, for naira abuse, despite pleading guilty. However, he was granted freedom on August 5th, 2024. In the interview, Bobrisky surprisingly described his prison experience as a “vacation” and claimed to have enjoyed his time there.
When asked by Isbae U how he managed to remain beardless throughout his almost four-month stay in prison, Bobrisky addressed the curiosity. Isbae U had joked that he expected Bobrisky to emerge from prison looking like Gandalf, filled with beards. Bobrisky’s response has sparked interest and debate online, with many eager to know the secrets behind his beardless prison stay.
Isbea U said; “A lot of people were expecting you to come out looking like Gandalf, you understand, how did you get someone to bring you shaving stick?”
Responding, Bobrisky said he has done laser surgery stressing that till he leaves this earth, hair cannot grow on his face.
In his words; “So I have done laser, so till I leave this earth, hair cannot grow on my face.”
