Big Brother Naija’s Nina Ivy has revealed her wish for early motherhood, sharing that she has long dreamed of becoming a young mom.
In a Snapchat post, she mentioned that she is even considering using a sperm donor to achieve her goal.
Nina expressed her excitement about motherhood and her aspiration to have a daughter before she turns 30.
Nina Ivy encouraged her followers to think about starting a family if they are financially ready, suggesting that they will likely look back on their decision with pride.
She acknowledged that opinions on early parenthood can differ but affirmed that, for her, having children at a younger age was the right decision.
Nina Ivy shared, “If you have the means to care for a child, go ahead and have that baby. You’ll feel incredibly proud of your choice later on. I’ve always wanted to be a young mother, especially in my 20s.
I was even open to using a sperm donor if necessary. I’m glad I didn’t let doubts hold me back. I love being a mom and still hope to have a daughter before I turn 30. Everyone has their own views on this.”
In a subsequent post, Nina emphasized that having children early was the best decision for her, as she has experienced many aspects of motherhood that others might encounter later in life.
She also noted the health benefits of having children in your 20s, such as fewer pregnancy complications and easier postpartum weight loss.
She continued, “Having my children early was truly the best decision for me. While everyone has their own reasons, I’ve experienced what many might go through at 35 before even turning 30.
“In your 20s, your chances of conceiving are higher, and the risk of pregnancy complications is lower. Additionally, it’s generally easier to lose pregnancy weight and regain your fitness after giving birth at a younger age. So, consider these factors.”
