AbdulShally, the well-known ex-wife of a billionaire, has shared her perspective on the ongoing custody battle between Sophia Momodu and superstar singer Davido, asserting that a N5 million housing allowance is sufficient.
The custody dispute has been fraught with accusations, including claims that Davido has neglected their child and failed to provide financial support for the past three years.
Amid this controversy, She commented that Davido’s offer of N5 million for housing costs is more than adequate for living expenses anywhere in Nigeria.
Drawing from her personal experience, AbdulShally recounted how, following her separation from her billionaire husband, she sold a Peugeot he had given her to purchase her preferred car. She further explained that she relocated their children to the United States, where educational expenses were significantly higher, and she took on the financial burden herself due to her decision to move abroad.
In her concluding remarks, AbdulShally emphasized that Sophia Momodu should not expect the same privileges as a wife, highlighting the importance of fulfilling her motherly responsibilities independently.
