The Federal Government announced the price hike as part of efforts to maintain the quality and integrity of the Nigerian Standard Passport, with the new charges set to take effect from September 1st, 2024.

She joked that she should have purchased 10 ten-year passports instead of waiting and worrying about when she would get married.
