Nigerian TikTok personality Peller has publicly criticized social media influencer Mukoro Michelle, popularly known as Mitc,y, over her recent controversial TikTok Live incident.
The drama began after Mitchy reportedly consumed a substance known as “hype” during a TikTok Live session. The livestream came amid intense online backlash and cyberbullying linked to her ongoing dispute with social commentator VeryDarkMan.
The activist had earlier accused Mitchy of inappropriate conduct involving Seyi Tinubu, an allegation that sparked heated debates across social media platforms.
Peller Reacts to Mitchy’s TikTok Live Incident
Reacting during his own livestream, Peller — who is widely regarded as one of the biggest TikTok streamers in Nigeria — questioned Mitchy’s decision to go live on TikTok while engaging in such behavior. He expressed concern about the impact the incident could have on the platform and its community.
According to Peller, if Mitchy intended to harm herself, she could have chosen a different platform instead of TikTok Live.
He stressed that bringing such a serious situation to TikTok could negatively affect the platform and its users.
In his words, he criticized the move, suggesting that actions like that could put TikTok under scrutiny.
He also warned that if any consequences fall on the platform because of such incidents, there would be backlash.
Social Media Reactions
The situation has generated mixed reactions online. While some users criticized Mitchy’s actions, others expressed concern for her well-being, pointing out the damaging effects of online bullying and public shaming.
The controversy highlights the growing pressure faced by influencers in Nigeria’s digital space, where personal disputes and allegations can quickly escalate into viral trends.
It also raises broader conversations about mental health awareness, cyberbullying, and responsible use of livestream platforms.
As discussions continue, many observers are calling for caution, empathy, and accountability from all parties involved to prevent further escalation.
