Nigerian singer Portable has found himself in hot water after the Ogun State Police Command declared him wanted. The police accused him of conspiracy, serious assault, armed breach of public peace, and attempted murder.
Portable, whose real name is Habeeb Okikiola, has denied the allegations, claiming that the police are trying to frame him. In a passionate outburst, he challenged the police to provide evidence of his wrongdoing.
“I didn’t kill anybody,” Portable said. “If anything happens to me, there will be trouble. They should post the evidence of where I fought them at my bar. They are evil people, and they are lying against me. Just kill me and let everywhere scatter.”
The police declaration of Portable as wanted has sparked a mixed reaction from the public. While some people have expressed support for the singer, others have criticized his behavior and called for him to face the law.
