Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has announced that he is looking to hire software engineers from Nigeria and around the world. Musk, who is the owner of Twitter (now known as X), made the announcement on his verified page, stating that he wants to help talented software engineers build the “everything app”.
According to Musk, applicants do not need to have a degree or prior experience working for a big-name company. Instead, he encouraged interested individuals to showcase their coding skills by sending their best work to a designated website for review.
Musk’s tweet read: “If you’re a hardcore software engineer and want to build the everything app, please join us by sending your best work to code@x.com. We don’t care where you went to school or even whether you went to school or what ‘big name’ company you worked at. Just show us your code.”
