A young Nigerian woman has issued a warning to the public after discovering that the kilishi she received from Abuja was actually rubber coated with heavy suya pepper.
The TikTok user, @timiobong, shared her alarming revelation on the video-sharing platform after her father brought her the popular dried meat snack from a trip to Abuja.
Suspicious of the taste, the woman decided to investigate by washing the kilishi with a sponge.
To her astonishment, she discovered that what appeared to be dried meat was, in fact, synthetic rubber coated with suya spice. “My dad travelled to Abuja and I begged him to buy me kilishi when coming back to Lagos,” she captioned the video.
