A Nigerian man has faced intense criticism from his family after exposing his sister’s infidelity to her husband, revealing how his parents had been complicit in covering up her actions.
The man shared his story anonymously through X influencer @Wizarab, sparking widespread discussion online. According to the post, his sister’s husband had been instrumental in improving his and his family’s financial situation. The husband had funded the man’s final year at university, helped him secure a job, and provided substantial financial support to their parents.
Initially, the man remained silent when he discovered his sister’s first instance of infidelity, which involved a pregnancy that was later terminated with the family’s support. However, he decided to act after uncovering a second affair.
“My family is angry, but I don’t care anymore,” he wrote. “My sister cheated on her husband, got pregnant, and aborted the baby with the help of my parents and siblings. I initially kept quiet, but when she cheated again, I had enough. I told her husband everything.”
He explained that his sister’s husband had done so much for their family, and he felt it would be wrong to allow him to be deceived further. The revelation led the husband to end the marriage, leaving his sister devastated.
The man’s decision has strained his relationship with his family, who are now hostile towards him for exposing the truth. “My parents hate me because they’ve lost their source of financial support. My sister hates me for ruining her marriage. They’ve disowned me, but I don’t care because I’m financially independent,” he stated.
He also noted that his sister’s life has taken a drastic turn following the revelation, as she lost her marriage and access to her children. However, the man expressed no regrets, emphasizing that he couldn’t allow someone who had been so supportive to be treated unfairly.
