The Nollywood community is rejoicing as brothers Kunle Afolayan and Aremu Afolayan put aside their differences to reunite for their mother’s burial.
A heartwarming video on Instagram showed the siblings sitting together at the Kunle Afolayan film village in Komu, Oyo State, surrounded by friends and family.
Despite their expected reunion, the brothers were seen chatting with friends, but not directly with each other. However, they did tag each other on their respective social media pages.
Fans and colleagues alike took to the comment section to express their joy at seeing the brothers reunited. “Things we love to see,” wrote olatoun_olanrewaju. temmytee2013 added, “So happy for this unite.” The reunion comes after Kunle Afolayan announced their mother’s passing on his Instagram page a few days ago. He shared that her demise was hard to accept, but her good life was a comfort to them.
The Afolayan brothers’ reunion is a welcome development, especially after their highly publicized rift, which started years ago when Aremu allegedly dissed his family in a post.
