Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo joyfully responded after winning $1,000 for being the best-dressed actress at the premiere of her fellow actress Omoni Oboli’s film.
Omoni Oboli took to Instagram to clarify that Ojo’s prize was one thousand dollars, not one million, and that it was sponsored by celebrity hair entrepreneur Wanneka.
In her post, Oboli commended Iyabo Ojo for her impressive fashion sense, highlighting how her standout outfit enhanced the event at the premiere of Wives on Strike: The Uprising.
She also acknowledged the creativity of other celebrities who attended, noting their stylish contributions to the premiere.
“The results are in: Nigerian fashionistas really showcased their creativity, A-game, and intentionality. We are excited to announce that the Best Dressed Winner from #TheUprisingWOS3Premiere in the female category is @iyaboojofespris,” she wrote.
“You are truly a fashion icon. Congratulations, Queen Mother; you illuminated our world premiere with elegance,” the caption continued.
In her response, Iyabo Ojo expressed her appreciation and gratitude for her colleague’s kind words and the prize.
