A Nigerian lagos lady has sparked a lively discussion on social media by pleading for help after a flood overtook her apartment and destroyed her belongings.

In a video posted on the Lagos lady TikTok page, the woman can be seen standing in a room already filled with water. Various items, including a chair, shelf, and bed, as well as several items in the living room, were shown submerged as the water level continued to rise.

The flood also affected the kitchen, soaking many utensils, including pots and plates.

After uploading the video, she reached out for assistance, seeking a place to stay. The post quickly gained attention, with many concerned individuals sharing their thoughts in the comments section.

See some reactions below:

SexyBella😍🥰👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩: “At times it’s good to live upstairs.”

TifeGoldie: “Please oo which side is this ooo make I no go rent apartment for where water go carry me go🙏.”

MrBonJour 👑 🇨🇦 🇳🇬 🇫🇮: “Come village, you say na Lagos you wan stay 😎.”

Dronik_Vibez💙🦅: “Just go look for it and let me know, I don’t know you from anywhere, but I just feel the pain and stress you’re having now.”

LYT of Lagos (King👑ship): “I have a free room self-contain with kitchen at Unity Estate Addo Ajah I can give you for free for the next 9 months.”

Gello: “The best thing to do is to raise funds for her. Maybe she’ll stay in a hotel for one or two weeks while her properties dry up. By then she must have found a new place to stay.”

SwankyBaby 🥰🇳🇬: “Sorry my dear, guess you are living in Lagos. My sis sent me a video of her parlor this morning just like this. All her sofa and everything were swimming in water. She lives in Lagos.”

Ekama Eguono Favour: “Sorry, kindly leave first for your safety. Look for a way to lock the door if you can and leave until the water recedes. There might be some reptiles and other things that could hurt you.”

VidasFashionStore: “It’s sad to see some people’s harsh comments here. Some are even saying it’s content. I know her, and she is always straightforward about this water issue. Whenever it rains, she can’t even afford to sleep.”

This heartfelt plea and the ensuing reactions highlight the struggles and dangers faced by those living in flood-prone areas.
