A pregnant woman shared a distressing story about how her marriage suddenly deteriorated after she made an unfortunate comment comparing her husband to her ex-boyfriend. In a post on social media, she described how her husband, who had always shown her love and care, abruptly left her just 30 minutes before a critical doctor’s appointment.
The night before, her husband had gone out of his way to make her feel special with an extravagant date night, showering her with gifts like her favorite flowers, a necklace, a charm bracelet, and more thoughtful surprises.
Despite the romantic evening, she secretly sent photos and videos of the date to her ex, telling him she wished he were the one doing those things for her and confessed that she still had feelings for him. This confession had serious repercussions, leading to her husband’s unexpected departure.
In her post, she reflected on the situation:
“Imagine being eight months pregnant, and the night before an important doctor’s appointment, your husband takes you out to a fancy dinner, spoiling you with gifts and surprises, only to leave you the next morning, just 30 minutes before the appointment.
“A few years ago, I met this man who treated me like a queen from the very beginning. Our first date was a perfect night by the lake. He has always been attentive and caring, never cheated, and always supported me, especially during the pregnancy. However, during our recent date, I made the mistake of sending pictures and messages to my ex, saying I wished he were the one doing all this for me. My husband saw those messages.
